woodford is really good. Have two bottles of it and a bottle of woodford double oaked.. It's pretty damn good.. Also have eagle rare, bulleit, four roses, Weller (the cheap bottle. Was only like 14 bucks), and buffalo trace on the tray right now... Tried BH two or three weeks ago and it is really good! Blantons is prob my favorite bourbon with eagle rare... Never had pappy :(

I too like Woodford, a lot ... and I'm working on my ninth set of Blanton's corks. My mission is to have enough so that the horse runs all the way around the top of my man cave tiki bar, if my liver holds-out.

Plus the Blantons bottles make great lanterns.

Normally, I'm a scotch drinker but Blantons is the nectar of the whiskey gods.

Woodford is my go-to for a cheaper bottle of bourbon. I've got Maker's 46 in the decanter right now. I was pleasantly surprised by that one. Blanton's is probably my favorite.

For the record, I think Noah's Mill is the best bourbon available.

That's not even the best thing Willet makes.

Woodford's great. So are Knob Creek and Bookers. For the money, though, Bulleit, Buffalo Trace and Eagle Rare are tops.

Bulleit, according to my liquor store guy, is charcoal filtered like Tennessee whiskey-which gives it a smoother flavor.

Great bottle for the $$$. It used to be my daily drinker.

Blanton's and Elijah Craig are my usual go-to for Bourbon. My wife love Maker's Mark so that's what we keep the most of in the house. I'm a single malt man, myself. Have a solid catalog of Speysides I keep stocked with a couple of Highlands and 1 Islay, along with a couple of blends for my more philistine friends.

Bulleit Rye is the tits.

Bulleit rye is distilled in a giant factory in Indiana. If you want an actual good bourbon, go with their regular stuff.

That stuff is like turpentine.

Rittenhouse is a good go-to rye. But for the price, I like Old Overholt... and not ashamed to admit it.

I'm not a huge fan of their regular whiskey either. It's too viscous and sweet. Maker's 46 is different though and i really enjoy it.

Makers is a good mixer. They've gone a long way on their bottle marketing.

Whoever decided to start dipping their bottles in wax is a marketing genius.

Makers is tourist bourbon, but they are excellent marketers
Woodford is a good everday (mine)
My fave is still Jefferson Reserve -- Presidential if you got it.
Luckily we all have different taste or everybody would be buying the same stuff. More jobs for bourbon makers!

Never tried Jefferson. This thread is singly responsible for my present trip to Spec's to find a new bourbon to try. Lol

I love Bookers. As a former white trash white label Jim beam drinker I love that I can stay true to my white trash roots yet drink $70 a bottle bourbon. Plus I love devils cut. The smokey flavor I truly love.

Jim Beam Black Label isn't a bad bourbon for it's price.

Tonight for me it's W.L. Weller Special Reserve. A nice wheated bourbon for a change of pace.

Never cared for the black label. I do love devils cut and bookers make me tingle.
