good choice not working with EBR school board. Also i believe it is slightly different in EBR because central and zachary are break away districts inside the parish and I don't think they answer to the tards at EBRSB. The non incorporated part of Baton Rouge is trying to break away into its own town partly over the school system here. Im looking forward to the day when the tanks are rolling down the street as the great br civil war begins. Im make a push that we claim downtown br as part of new St. George.

Also the Parishes have to do with our french/ catholic heritage. I kinda like the slight difference

interesting. we don't really get to pick the parish/districts/public schools we have as customers. Right now out of 120 school districts we're about 90% in TX, 7% in OK and 3% LA, AR, KY. Looking to get into GA and FL soon.

usually i take all comers, but EBR seems to be about like Beaumont ISD here. I've told my boss if we ever get them as customers, I'm out.

Yea its best to not deal with any faction of EBR, the metro council is full of fricktards, the School board is fricking horrible, and the mayor likes to get drunk, and play dress up during states of emergency.

Yet despite all of that downtown is blasting along and looking like it might get even better. Its something amazing considering the metro council is basically shiela jackson and some people that use it to further their personal business.

Partly Roman Catholic heritage, partly a hangover from Napoleonic code.

100% true actually.

And to the poster ^^ I doubt you will hear it used, but if you have to read through legal descriptions in the areas surrounding Lafayette you will certainly see it used.

What kind of work are you in?

A lot of the small towns surrounding Lafayette are pretty much duplicates of small towns in rural France.

It's cool, I'm not trying to be nosy.

Hey, at least we don't use the metric system.
