The online universities prey on uninformed people. If you aren't near a major university or qualified to attend one, you would be far wiser to attend your nearby community college. For profit schools like Phoenix, Devry, Everest, etc. are scams that seek out vulnerable people. It is extremely sad IMO.

I went for a good education. Why the rest of the SEC West went? I'm guessing you didn't have friends in high school and a fraternity was the only way to buy some?

If you really want to know why I went to Alabama...
- I grew up an Alabama fan
- It's (IMO) the best school in the state
- Cheap tuition, made cheaper by academic scholarships and PACT money (I actually make money by going to Alabama)
- I needed to go somewhere... Where to go to law school will be a much bigger decision for me. I've known since 10th grade that I'm going to law school... Alabama was just a hoop I had to jump through.
- No I didn't join a fraternity. I just chose not to. It's not my thing.
- I had plenty of friends in high school- still keep up with them regularly. Most of them are out of state now, though.
