Pretty much. Still can't believe he didn't have his hand in on the last political hit. Chechens are scum though so, it does make it a bit easier to believe.

What do you think about that recent assassination? I'm not sure what to think of it because it reeks of Putin but at the same time his admin looks like they're serious about catching and now trying the killers.

I can easily see Chechens being an independent actor, but as close as they're monitored, I think Putin knew. It was a Pearl Harbor sort of thing.

Wait, are they blaming Chechens for it? That doesn't make much sense. I thought most Chechens hate the Russian government. Why would they kill an opposition leader?

Chechens are followers of the ROP. Nemtsov had a hit put out by the ROP for being so vocally supportive of that French cartoon.
