I consider the odds of a benevolent God existing to be so close to zero that I feel comfortable saying he doesn't.
After that, I'm pretty much ambivalent. All the evidence leads me to believe that if God does exist, he is at best indifferent and at worst manevolent. Such a being simply doesn't interest me.
So I wouldn't claim to know God doesn't exist, only that if he does he has not given me a reason to care about his existence. I believe all currently proposed religions can be refuted to varying degrees by evidence.

Agnosticism deals with what one concedes can be either proven or disproven, but it still does not address what one believes, therefore....

Right, but the question was, "who here is atheist?". And you answered agnostic, which makes no sense and makes it seem like you're one of those people who wants to seem cool and unique, but in actuality have no clue wtf they are talking about
Also, you said "agnostic instead" - as if agnosticism is in opposition to atheism, but it isn't. The two beliefs can exist together.

I would guess that the activity generated by atheists in defending the separation of religion and government causes the most enmity from theists. Of course, the army of people protecting the Constitution includes far more people from other walks of life than from atheism.
