Pakistan is without question our worst ally. I would have cut off trade with them already if I were president after the Osama incident, where he hid out in a mansion in their version of West Point. No fricking way they didn't know he was there, and if we notified the Pakistanis that we were going into their country to take him, they probably would have found a way to tip him off.

Saudi Arabia at least has huge financial reasons to stay tight with the US, but Pakistan doesn't have as much going for them from a trade standpoint. When living in Beijing, that's really when I found out how much they despised us. The hatred between us and the Pakistanis made the hatred between us and the Iranis in town look tame in comparison. Whenever the two were around each other, some shite would start for just about sure.

I'd say France would be in our top 5 best allies actually. It's just the fact that they weren't on board for the Iraq War and their superiority complex that gives them the bad reputation.

Honestly, the sooner we cut ties with with Pakistan, the better. They are the House Frey of our allies. Always late, rat us out to our enemies, harbor our enemies, disobey everyone with any authority over them, and would kill us in our sleep given a chance. I don't think Saudi Arabia or Israel would do the same.

I don't think Israel would gut us in our sleep but I don't trust the Saudis. The fact the hijackers were all Saudis and the stunts they pulled in the 70s should have been enough to take the gloves off and steal all their fricking oil.

I don't trust them either, but they're a bunch of cheesemongers who are only loyal to money. They won't gut us in our sleep because it isn't in their financial interest. The Pakistanis though don't give a frick about money and merely want to see the system fail and us to be destroyed. Saudi Arabia is much too embedded with that system to try and screw us over as royally as Pakistan has and plans to.

I agree. Saudi leadership needs the US too much. Now, if they're overthrown then Saudi Arabia could be a huge issue.

Someone with a better geopolitical awareness needs to explain to us why the US continues any positive relations with Pakistan.

We needed Pakistan to secure our supply lines into Afghanistan. Our relationship will deteriorate after we withdraw.

We don't need to be over there either. Aside from UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Turkey, Iraq, and Israel, we just need to cut economic ties with that place at large.
