Been to Wyoming it's beautiful. But I'm not ever dealing with cold like that so I'll stay with coastal northern California.

ETA: Took it again and got California.

So did I.

I don't think I'd ever live anywhere other than the South, but I did really enjoy visiting Minneapolis for a week and a half several years ago. The people were all extremely nice & laid back.

I think that description as applied to me is only partially correct, though. I do like to take it easy more often than running around on a tight schedule 24/7, but I'm pretty sure that's procrastination in my case. I think I'm laid back about many things, but when not "calm," I'm REALLY not calm.

Welp, I'll get to see the snow much more often in Minnesota!!

I really did like it up there. People were great & it's beautiful with lots of water, but I don't know if I could handle that accent all the time.

The summer is very nice there, and I LOVE the cold & winter precip, remember??
And yes, Mall of the Americas is awesome, but I didn't think the food was bland at all. I love cheese, though, and they have great cheese, along with Wisconsin. Their beef is really good as well, considering Iowa is right there, too. I actually remember thinking I wouldn't mind living in Minneapolis while visiting except for that pesky detail about it not being southern.

goofy accent just takes down anything that is remotely tolerable. lotsa fat folks too, I felt right at home.
btw, I didn't recognize any of those tv shows except where the 2 figs went around and bought junk, didn't listen to most of those singin' folks cept for elvis and all the babies were fugly, so I got directed to missa hippy..

I picked Elvis, too, AND the junk buyers - not that I watch that particular show regularly, but I watch more of those types of shows when I do watch tv.
All of the babies were adorable!! Some were just so ugly they were cute!!
I know what got me directed to Minnesota was my choosing the line from the movie Fargo (one of my favorites). I guess since it's the same general area as MN, I got shot up there.

Terrible time to get that answer because my wife wants us to move to Richmond and I just told her last week that I would never move to Virginia.
