Ok cops called bust party kids get under aged drinking.

Three things

What parent lets multiple kids not of own making drink at their house?
What parent doesn't tell their kid to get out of said situation (dump the goods)
Who is the old neighbor?

my parents let me have big partys at the house but they also knew most of the kids and their parents.

as for the second question: shitty parents that don't prepare their kids for the real world

5 years ago I had to do 40 hours of CS. I just did it at the local museum and it was great. I showed up at 8am with a packed lunch. After the 1st day I had my routine down. They would just let me go and not supervise me at all. I basically put in my ipod as soon as I got there, and went to every room in the building and cleaned. Cleaned every part of every room. Obviously it wasn't glamorous, but the time went pretty quick.

I had a job so I could only do 4 hours a day, but I went every day so I knocked out the 40 hours in 2 weeks. It was also kinda cool getting to see all the exhibits and stuff.

You shouldn't be mad that he shares the publics opinion (which is majority time correct in this situation).

when I was a teen I had to do mine at the animal shelter and hated it! lots of poo to clean and they didn't let us play with any animals. terrible work but I did buy my first pack of cigs while I was working there -shrug- probably because there were multiple POS adults there doing their time as well. Eta: if it's court ordered they eill have a list of places that they accept. Call the probation dept and ask for the list.

My son just got ordered to do 50 hours of community service. Any ideas where to do it?

check with a couple local animal shelters/humane society. I am on the board for a local animal shelter and we take volunteers to do community service, granted none that were court ordered and all were high schoolers looking to put something on their college apps.

Probably too busy taking a selfie with the cops.

We had to do community service hours for school and the most popular places was the local soup kitchen, the Humane Society, Catholic Charities (or a local church), Goodwill or Salvation Army, etc. I got mine working a Special Olympics event.

Give his school counselor a ring and they might be able to set something up through school. We've had kids at work that have worked with our 2nd shift janitors and gotten their hours that way too.

Make him work at an animal shelter. It was horrible when I had to do it.
