Goddammit I walked into that one
Mom laughs at my qualms about Jack Frost, though. She's from Michigan

Exactly this. I roll my eyes at every annoying fricker that spends less than 1 hour outside per day, on average, when they start bitching about weather. Your walk in and out of work must be brutal.
My Dad is a retired railroad guy that worked out "in it" for 40+ years at the railroad alone. He'll tell you 10 times out of 10 he'd take the heat over the cold.
I roll my eyes at every annoying fricker that acts like someone who currently works inside has never spent a significant amount of time outdoors.

Yeah once the rain started it was fricking miserable. I ended up working from home on Monday just because I didn't want to go out in it. That was definitely a long 3 days.

I would take 30 degrees everyday for the rest of my life

Sorry not everyone works in a fricking construction site? I mean, shite.
Sorry your limited life experiences lead you to believe everyone who works outside is a construction worker. I have a buddy who spends more time outside than I do, but frick him and his engineering of our waterways not causing more havoc during floods. No friends who commercial fish either? No farming/ranching friends? Loggers? Since tgis is a sports site, coaches? I could go on and on with outdoors related industries in Florida, sunshine state and whatnot. We just had lifeguards on the beach, over Christmas Go back inside, and fb about the weather some more.

biggest complaint with the summer is not the hot summer days... It is the hot summer nights.
Houston has them. I hate sweating at 9pm. Call me crazy.

I never bitched about the weather until I moved to a high rise in the city and had to start walking my dog. It's brutal.

I never say that. I'd take 365 days a year of 90 over a couple months in the 40s.

Give me the cold; even in the years I worked out of doors.

I don't mind the cold but frick the wind.
That being said, give me hot over cold any day of the week.

I look forward to the cold weather each year. I don't understand people (especially from the South) who bitch about the 3 months at most of winter cold we get when we have either pleasant warmth or miserable heat the other 9 months of the year. The only part of the year I despise is the relentless heat and humidity of summer but I can deal with it because of all the beach/pool opportunities. Give me cold weather with a few chances of snow from Thanksgiving to early March and it can be as warm as it can be the rest of the time and I'll be happy.

I hate the cold and would live on the equator if I could. All of nature and creation proves it. Every living thing is either dead or crawled into a hole because it sucks so bad outside.

My Scandinavian friend sent this to me from yesterday. The delivery guy is just waiting for the snow plow to create a path for him.
They have weeks when even the snow plows can't get through.
No thank you.

Cold and sunny with no wind is tolerable.
Hot and humid with no wind is worse.
Cold wind is the worst by far.
The best weather is cool enough to keep the bugs away and warm enough to go without a coat.

30 degrees is too warm for outdoor activities. 25 is perfect

Cold absolutely sucks. And most of the people who are saying cold is good, do not work outside
Screw the cold. Give me 90's any day

As a pharma rep, I'm outside quite a bit for a white collar job and I prefer cooler weather.
Autumn and Spring - the three weeks we get of each - are the best.
January/February and July/August can go frick off.
This is the only thing I disagree with Stringer Bell on - I love me a 40 degree day.
