I would actually rank that big list above as someone who is ignorant and lacks experience.

No you can't. You can not like his opinion. But he stated his experience with each state. It's just like, his opinion, man

My favorite states are Colorado, Utah and California. I have no desire to live in any of them, though.

I've been to 40 states, including AK.

I see a lot of hate for New Mexico, and it does have its poverty ridden Indian reservations, but there is also some otherworldly natural beauty there, too.

I think North Dakota probably sucks, although I've never been there. Its like a less interesting, colder South Dakota.

I have family in Nashville, Franklin, Chattanooga and savannah tennessee. I e spent plenty of my life in Tennessee. It is a fun state, but no where near a top 10

Fair enough. That's your opinion and what is important to you may be different than the next guy. To say Chattanooga and East Tennessee is all Tennessee has is a blatantly retarded statement.

Nebraska is too cold and windy, just like the rest of the plains. Omaha is nice though. It would immediately be one of the nicer cities in the south if you could move it 7 hours southeast. It is surprisingly hilly and treed.

I know West Va is poor, but metro DC WV is nice and it really is a beautiful state.

So the consensus we've got is:

Montana, Idaho, Wyoming and the Dakotas all kinda suck because there's nothing there. But pretty in their own right.

Jersey just sucks according to everybody.

Texas, bitches hate us cuz they ain't us.

Missisippi is still really racist.

Oklahoma is sucky and boring

New Mexico is just like Old Mexico.

West Virginia is pretty but backasswards.

Kansas

Kansas was awesome. Wichita is probably one of my favorite cities. Big time into basketball and has a great bar district with a down home feel. Can't knock Kansas after living all over the south. Kansas shits on the south in a lot of ways. I mean, when you compare it to Mississippi it's not even a fair comparison.

Absolutely. Central Idaho, Western Montana and NW Wyoming are the most beautiful areas in the lower 48

Yes those places are fantastic but to be fair, once you get East of the Rocky Mtn front, there is mostly nothing but wheat fields.

I will say unequivocally that so far in my life, Glacier Natl Park is the most beautiful place I've seen. Western MT in general is fricking rad.

Pretty much every State has a good part and meh...part. Hell, Colorado is 2/3rds flat. Alaska has the North Slope that's pretty boring, California has the Central Valley....

For sure. I feel like people have this romantic idea of places like Montana thinking the whole thing is mountainous, wild, and scenic...that's all I really meant, I'm not downing those states by any means, I enjoyed living in Montana.

The rolling prairie in Montana is kind of cool. Couldn't live there but I can see the appeal. The Western 3rd is pretty damn cool though.

Idaho is my fav. State outside of Ak though.
