My wife and i have always been pretty much whataburger eaters, but she has since left me for "smash burger" which is well and good, but now i have a hard time getting the family behind me for WB.

So I ask... what is your favorite chain burger?Chili's or whatever is a fine answer as well.

for me:

Whataburger
Cheddars
BJs
Smash Burger
Chili's
5 guys
Sonic
Burger King
Carl's Jr
Dairy Queen
McDonald's

i've had in n' out once and it was meh. i mean good... it was a burger, but i don't feel i'm justified to rank it currently.

ETA: sonic

Whataburger, 5 Guys, and Milo's are probably my top 3. After that it gets pretty meh.

Cheddar Blanket Burger from Zero One Ale House, San Angelo, TX

Chain burgers, though? Gotta go with the Stacker from Burger King.

5 Guys is my favorite chain burger

It's no where close to my favorite burger, though.

In-and-out burgers in Cali.

Back Yard burgers. I dunno why they don't have many chains in Georgia. they're all over Nashville.

In my experience the best burgers don't come from chain restaurants.

There's a really cool place in Fayetteville called Burger Life, when you walk in they give you a card and you check off everything you want. Bun type, meat, toppings, cheeses, everything you can think of, then you turn your card in and they build your burger.

holy crap. i'm from San Angelo and had one of those things when i was back at christmas break. it was freaking amazing. i thought of it when i typed this out, but since it's not a chain i didn't mention it.

but that thing was amazing. probably one of the best things i've ever eaten, burger or not.

i agree. but when you say "Sweet Lou's in Birmingham has the best burgers ever"

i can't and most likely won't be able to relate to that.

Burger Life

I had Burger Shack. Its very similar to Five Guys.

Burger Life is great, just for the options.

Best greasy burger in town might be at Art's.

Favorite fastfood burger is SmashBurger.

Yeah, my wife was at the base in SA for some training most of last year and she took me out to eat there a couple times. I hurt myself on that burger--first one I've ever eaten where I honestly couldn't say whether I liked the bread, the meat, or the cheese more One of the pictures I've posted on this board is from a night out there--I'd make a special trip just to get another one of those burgers, no lie

ETA: that pic Damn I'm hungry now and I just ate lunch

Ruby Tuesday has good burgers.

I've always liked Sonic's burgers more than Mcdonalds, burger kind, Hardees, etc.

I've never eaten nor seen a Milo's or In and out so those places I can't judge.

In and Out is pretty great. there's something about their fries that are unlike anywhere else I've been.

Its not worth standing in the rain for, though, like people did in Frisco, TX.
