Joe Pug-Nation of Heat
Shitty video but great lyrics. Probably not best ever, but I've been wearing this guy's albums out.
Also agree that "Time" is the GOAT Pink Floyd song.

Hahaha
Holy shite.
I'm utterly shocked.
Joe Pug is the man, he's a fricking hero of mine.
I was going to suggest that song, but he has so many great ones, what a tremendously talented writer.

Do you assume that nobody listens to some of the same stuff you do?
But yeah, Joe Pug's lyrical abilities are special and he has a lot of really good songs...I think I've listened to his stuff and Gregory Alan Isakov over the last two weeks. I just can't seem to get tired of it.
I agree and that whole album is money.

Bruised Orange (Chain of Sorrow) by John Prine.
You can gaze out the window, get mad and get madder, throw your hands in the air, say what does it matter? But it don't to no good to get angry, so help me I know. For a heart stained in anger grows weak and grows bitter, you'll become your own prisoner, as you watch sit there wrapped up in a trap, of your very own chain of sorrow.

Have you heard of this John Prine cover album -- broken hearts and dirty windows?
Bon Iver guy does Bruised Orange on it, pretty good.
