I did. I bought a book that said how to become a graphic designer. Had a bunch of Marvel shite in it.

Astronaut

Obviously, I achieved both and am presently posting from the ISS as I prepare for my portion of the spacewalk. I'll be back on tour once things are repaired.

Veterinarian, also.

I have a degree in biology, so I guess I could still go that route if I wanted.

For a time I wanted badly to be a marine biologist but then I was informed that due to my ear problems -- multiple sets of tubes/hole in the eardrum -- I couldn't SCUBA due to the pressure. Of course, I never stopped to think back then that this was prolly only a temporary ban that I'd grow out of.

I'd have loved to have been a vet but I couldn't bring myself to put a dog or cat down. Now that I've grown older and understand the pain they suffer, I get it.

lots of vet dreams,, me too. it took me a long time to realize that there was no way for me to be a vet as well as an nfl football player and mlb baseball player. I just couldn't do it all.

What do you mean I have to choose???

Seriously, ain't that the truth. There are so many things that would be awesome to do yet we're usually forced to pick just one or two. It doesn't seem fair we have to choose.

USAF Fighter Pilot.

I went to Auburn specifically to get a degree in Aviation Management (Georgia didnt have this.)and graduate under a USAF ROTC pilot scholarship. I wound up getting an eye infection my sophmore year that did optic nerve damage, permanently damaging my vision to 20/50. That was enough at the time to prevent me from getting the slot I wanted. I could have gone in as a navigator, but that didnt seem to have commercial application, so I subsequently changed to a degree in Marketing and Transportation and have been in the global logistics field ever since.

Always regretted that I didnt get the chance to zoom and boom with the air force, but my career subsequently has been great.

Taking up for the other poster, I have to say, not really. My grandfather ran an advertising agency that had a number of extremely talented commercial artists on staff. I loved hanging out with them and seeing what they were working on. This was in days before computers where the art of illustration with pen and ink, and airbrush was a real skill.

I damn sure knew what a graphic artist was before I was 10.

Oh, and I had one other aspiration that never materialized. i wanted to bang my babysitter, who was one hot 17 year old from next door. Spent the pubescent years with a permanant hard on fapping to the thoughts of tappin that. This was when the only view of a big girl pussy a kid got was looking at dads playboys.

I wanted to be a spy like James Bond (have always loved the movies)

Honestly, I'm not sure. It sure wouldn't work well with my wife but it would be exciting. If I really knew what it was like I'd probably say no.

I had zero desire to become a veterinarian as a kid. After a handful of experiences it just sorta hit me halfway through college that this was what I was meant to do. I think most people that want(ed) to do this would change their mind if they spent a few days with me.

I have spent some time thinking about my life if I had done this instead. I love FF. What kind of rods do you use?

Alas, I was too white. Can still catch BBs in the dark, though.
