31. I had a 34 on the math and 35 on the reading, but whatever the other two were it dragged the average down that far. SAT is more prevalent in Texas so I wasn't really prepared for writing/science. But that shite was so long ago. frick taking tests.

You gotta do what you gotta do to get that competitive advantage.

It was worth it, I needed the bonus to get into LSU.

16 the first time I took it, including either a 9 or 10 on the reading portion.

Think the highest i got was 21. Funny that 15 years later I think I could make a 25 or 26, just because I understand how to take the test now.

in my area EVERYBODY took the ACT instead of the SAT. i couldn't remember which one A&M leaned more heavy towards, but I knew i needed to get above a 27 to get in. which was a waste because the school i ended up going to had like a 21 requirement.

25

Not a great score but have reached all my goals anyway. I know plenty of people with really high ACT/SAT scores that were too lazy to make anything of themselves.

With the exception of maybe 3 in this thread, everyone else is brilliant...shocker.

26 for the record.

The only time I took the SAT was in 7th or 8th grade. Can't remember what I made. Didn't put it on my college application.

I think I took it 4 times. Made a 24, 25, and 25 the first three times. Took it again and made a 28, which got me a lot more scholarship money from Alabama.

If you know how to prepare and actually do it there is no excuse on getting below a 34.

English is correcting grammar which is easily learned

Math is just rules from algebra and geometry

50%+ of verbal is just learning vocab

Science is reading a graph and not being a moron

Since the National average is 22.3, the exception to this seem to all be posting at SECRANT. Marvel at all 30+ around here.

Yeah I didn't know the ACT was this prevalent. Down here in Florida, and at the colleges I applied to OOS, they really emphasized SAT scores.
