the media would tell you uncle joe stomped her, but in reality we would all lose if we looked at it as anything other than a sad comedy.

That statement doesn't mean I think she's VP material. But I would like to see a legit argument made as to what makes Obama or Biden any smarter than her.

Like I said, someone who holds degrees from two Ivy League schools and the UofC is smarter than someone who couldnt handle University of Idaho Coure De Arlene campus.

Just because she can't find her way to all 57 states, it shouldn't be held against her.

I think she is a major retard. I also think she is bad for the republican party image. She might have an idea worth two shits every now and then, but she is an absolute failure at conveying the idea without coming off like a retard.

The sad thing is there are some very bright, astute women in the GOP that would've been better suited for that spot. And running with someone like McCain, would've easily taken the vote.

McCain was just as big a deal breaker in 2008. He's establishment Rhino, and hurt that ticket, as much as she did.

Common sense goes a long way with me and would trust her judgment and principles much more than Obama/Biden despite the fact they both might have a better SAT score.

Her and McCain were both terrible choices. McCain is old, boring and can't get any one excited. He is also a worthless frick that is basically a democrat parading around as a republican.

I agree plenty of very astute, smart, and media conscious republican women and minorities to go around instead of having Palin set everyone back 50 years.

I don't think it mattered who you paired McCain with though just because he is such a shitty candidate.

Eh, I know more than a few Obama voters who would've run with McCain if he had someone else other than Palin as his VP. He might not have gotten the extreme conservative vote but he would've been the moderate needed to win the White House.

I simply asked what actions he's taken, has shown him to be a smart individual. Surely you can come up with something during his Presidency, rather than point to his diplomas from decades ago.

I tend to think people that can articulate a point as being intelligent people. Obama is really good at that. Biden can be at times. I haven't seen Palin articulate a point one single time. She's full of rhetoric, and has no substance.

I hesitate calling her an idiot because part of me thinks some of that is just an act to rally the stupid people in this country to her corner. Maybe she's just trolling?

2008 was the first time I didn't cast a vote, since I was first able to in 1988. He was the deal breaker for me. We survived Al Gore, I could have survived Palin.

McCain has plenty of problems besides his weak policies. He has an image issue. The man is old as frick, he can't lift his arms over shoulder height so he comes off as boring and stiff. The president is about image and while obama looks like a goof in mom jeans he was still hipper than McCain. Also McCain is god awful in speeches.

Such as when he articulated in the 2012 debates, ridiculing the notion that Russia was still a foreign foe and posed no threats? Or that the terrorist attack in Bengahzi was because of a video? Or that the IRS scandals, was just a couple of rouge folks?

When you get your info from SNL, I'm not surprised. I never said she was MENSA though, only that she was smarter than Obama and Biden.
