The best beer I know of is produced by Church Brew Works in Pittsburgh. A brewery in a church. I highly recommend going if you're in Pittsburgh. The Cherry Quad is probably the greatest beer I've ever tasted and their Christmas Ale is outstanding. The flavors are exceptional.

I've been supporting the local Auburn brewery more than anything though. They brew a coffee IPA that's out of this world

Rig, what's the name of the Auburn brewery?

I am completely shocked by the amount of people that like Miller.

I'm not a snob and will drink just about anything offered to me but I really can't drink that stuff. I mean it's better than natty or anything like that, but not a go to by any means.

Sierra Nevada and Fat Tire are stepping stones on the path to very good beer

I'd say New Belgium more so than Sierra Nevada. SN makes some damn good beers. They just put out a new one that I got a 12 pack of for $15.99 at Kroger, the Tropical IPA out of their beer camp series.

I honestly think they may have modeled if after Tropicalia from Creature Comforts. It's really good if you like a citrus forward IPA.

SN has been making great beers for a long time. What I like about SN is all of their different styles are a very approachable version of that style. I always look forward to their Celebration Ale every Christmas. A great version of a fresh hopped IPA.

I love Celebration. And one of the best things about SN is that their beers are a good $1-2 cheaper than comprable others. Most 6 packs are $7.99 around me. I still can't believe Sculpin is $14 for a 6 pack here in Atlanta. It's a good beer, but not $14 good when there are so many other good beers out there that are just as good, imo.
