What is your favorite band of all time? Who is the best?

I'd say Led Zeppelin is my favorite and the Beatles are the best.

Favorites are the Beatles, Pink Floyd, CCR, The Band, Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Who, Sublime, Avett Brothers
The Beatles are the best and I don't think it's really a debate if you understand the breadth of their influence and the fact that every album they released was an absolute masterpiece (except Yellow Submarine)

Solid picks. I'm also a huge Queen fan because Freddy Mercury was an unbelievable performer and vocalist. Sucks that he loved rampant gay sex which eventually killed him.

At least he was a very private, classic gay man. Made him much more watchable.
He did "Fat bottom girls" for the fans. His courage shall not go un appreciated.
Little Richard is the most interesting influence on Rock n Roll, being a gay, black rock n roll artist from GA in the 50s basically makes him some sort of superhuman from the future.
I enjoy Zeppelin the most of the era. If that makes me shallow and mainstream then so be it. Nobody can listen to "in my time of dying" and say it doesn't fricking rock.

People who don't like things because they are mainstream are stupid. Led Zeppelin was mainstream because they were great, it's not like they made cheap pop music.

LZ was fricking great. I just wish they weren't scumbags who screwed over so many blues musicians by taking their tunes and claiming them. They did a great job of putting their style on to the songs, but still shitty nonetheless.

I've been a huge fan of Boston since I was a kid. More Than a Feeling is a song that never gets old to me.

Correct. Most music that isnt popular is buried for legitimate reasons. It isnt good. That doesnt mean all or most popular music is good.
Pink Floyd for me. I stray on occassion but always return.

Pink Floyd because his songs were so unique and deep meaning. The Wall album is a masterpiece.
