Yes it's a problem, but we need to ask ourselves WHY are they amassing all that wealth? If there were good places to spend it, they would, since money has no intrinsic value. But instead, they are fearful of laws being made to take what they have, so they are hoarding more. It's a vicious cycle that can only be broken by the guys trying to make the socialist laws. But that requires effort to come up with good ideas for the 1% to spend money on, and laws are much easier, so that shite ain't happening anytime soon.

A dude named Maslow came up with a pretty good answer to this...

The ability to barter/trade/accumulate gives the illusion of satisfying many of those needs. Self actualization is defined by the actual person and how their psyche was molded, but regardless, self actualization is the goal.

Common core or the pussification of our youth. The first is probably the cause of the second.

I'll tell you the solution to the greed problem:

I'm going to continue to horde every fricking cent I can get my hands on. It's all about my family. The rest of you can fend for yourselves. One hundred humans somewhere are going to starve before I submit this post ANYWAY.

I'm wiser and healthier than a lot of you wienie bastards.

I'm fairly certain that money, in these terms, is referring to a value for value concept -- This one dollar will buy one dollar worth of good/service/power.

However, money is not just money in our world today, it is a means for control through debt -- this is achieved by creating currency as debt, fractional reserve banking is a key, but not only component of the debt based monetary system.
