Have you been diagnosed as clinically depressed?

If I went to a doctor, I would most likely be diagnosed. It's been a tough past couple of months.

Things are looking up though. It just takes time.

Yeah go. I do a course of antis every late Nov to mid Feb. I get seasonal depression hard. Its not necessarily sadness, but just tiredness, sleeping in at every opportunity and no motivation.

I've come to view them like antibiotics. I take it for roughly 80 days each year and as soon as the sun starts coming back, I bounce right out of it.

I started getting them after my brother passed. Like others have said, tunnel vision, shortness of breath, a feeling of disconnect, and basically freaking the frick out went with mine.

They put me on a small dosage of Ativan to take as needed. For awhile I took it daily then gradually tapered off it. I've maybe had to take one in the last year.

Basically, go to your doc.

My father had one shortly after his mother (my grandmother) passed away. He thought he was having a heart attack. Racing heartrate, general feeling of uncontrolled panic and fear.

i've heard it is similar to a heart attack, in terms of how it feels.

I've had mild versions of these before while driving. I got real hot all of a sudden and my breathing got real heavy. I had to pull over because i thought i was going to pass out. It passes.
