Bro, spot fricking on. I don't know if it is a "trend" though lol

On the real though, every day I go through a shite load of four way stops. It never fails 8 out of 10 has some dumb frick not paying attention or some shite like that at one.

Fat apologist/fat empowerment

This is annoying as frick. I have obese people in my family and friends that are. They talk shite about people smoking and shite like that but they will not admit up to their own problem.

I really hate seeing some fat person on a damn scooter in walmart. Walk fat arse. There are some that do have medical issues though not related to being fat or the fatness was caused by the medical issue. RARE but it happens. I feel for those people.

Something that I truly do love overall, but I hate at the same time is those damn yoga pants. I will make this simple. Some women look damn good in them. Some women do not. The ones that don't, need to stay the frick out of them.

Another really hot topic or trend here lately is paying damn athletes. I feel like its talked about more now than ever. Just shut the frick up and play.

Anything on social media that gains popularity and has no meaning at all.

Planking was a good example of one of those types of things.

Of course idiots are reproducing ten fold to the intelligent people

This I can definitely see. It seems the more intelligent people are having fewer kids and having them later in life for many reason, one being money. All the while, miscreants are creating social burdens.

Certainly controversial. I'm all about gang bangs, but I'm into more of a bukkake ending. I could sacrifice for my fellow man though.

I going to add to this.

Sorority chicks wearing x-large t shirts, nike shorts and running shoes. They all look the same, you can't tell if they have a hot body or are chunky. Be a little innovative and make an attempt to have some individualism and look good.

But, as you put it, 'you can't tell me' that the work culture combined with our food culture is not a huge factor in the amount of people that are out of shape.

There are 2 opposite sides to this.

1. One side of society is very work related culture..always in a hurry, never time to stop and eat a good balanced meal or cook a good meal. Fast food becomes convenient and on top of that it's addictive for some people..largely because it doesn't feel "filling". I can eat a balanced healthy meal that's half the portion of a large Big Mac combo and feel more full.

2. The other side of society is the one that doesn't work, or works for little money. The high cost of groceries today lead to buying of processed foods and heat up meals, or eating fast food. Limiting what you can buy with food stamps would solve a lot of this side of the problem.

Some people won't like what I'm about to say, but it's the truth. The fact that many women don't learn to cook like they used to contributes to obesity. Women used to be basically required by society to learn how to cook...nowadays it seems very few know how to cook a proper meal. What this leads to is the man not wanting to cook after work, his wife/GF doesn't cook, so they eat out or heat up something quick.

And by knowing how to cook, I mean being able to take basic ingredients, seasonings, raw meat, vegetables and prepare a meal. Not throw hotdogs in boiling water or heat up TGI fridays' frozen chicken wings.

Hell the fact that we even have breast cancer awareness month. Seriously WTF is that about?

Why is it more important than lung cancer? Prostate cancer? Colon cancer? etc

I know quite a few men who can cook. I get what you're saying though. Kids will eat lots of foods if you put them in front of them often enough. They don't have to be raised on Easy Mac and chicken nuggets.

I'm an awesome cook. I actually enjoy grilling,

My point was...most men, including myself, don't feel like cooking after working all day. On the weekends I love to grill out and such..but most days I don't want to cook.

When more and more women don't cook, this leads to people just eating out more or eating quick unhealthy pre prepared food out of convenience. And obviously a lot more women work these days, and they feel the same after work as men do. Used to be most women were housewives. Not saying todays societal norms are bad...just pointing out there are negative consequences of certain things. Obviously there is an upside also.

Something to add to your 'people don't know how to cook' argument.

The people that do cook are usually really modernized.

They can cook a chicken breast, but they don't know what to do with a whole chicken. Using the bones for broth ect.

Working women are ruining this country.

But seriously, you can prepare a decent meal for your family in less than an hour.
