Is it a person who was born in the 80's but grew up in the 90's? Or is a person who was born between 1990-1999?

Also does anyone else find all this 90's nostalgia kinda annoying? Especially from 20 year olds who barley remember anything before 1998. Yeah there were some cool shows and toys and shite, but overall the 90's weren't anything special. Would rather have lived in the 80's.

What are y'all s thoughts on the matter.

Yeah, but I also heard of people who were born in '87-'89 proclaim that they're 90's babies, since their childhood actually took place during most of the 90's.

If a lot of significant firsts happened in the 90s, you were a 90s kid. First movie, first CD, first crush, things like that.

I can agree with that. It's just that kids who are in college were born between 1992-1996, so they were between the ages of 3-7 on December 31,1999. Chances are they really don't remember too much of the '90s, and yet they're the ones leading in all this "90's nostalgia" crap. Most of the stuff you listed they probably didn't do until the early to mid 2000's. It gets really annoying after a while.

A 90s baby is one who is born in the 90's (1990-1999). A 90's kid is one who is born in the 80's (1980-1989).

This makes sense (I was born in '88).

I was born in 1987 and I consider myself a 90s kid. I really don't remember anything before 1991.

The 80's were better, 70's better than that. See a pattern?

I was born in Nov of 1992, and really don't remember anything before 1997. And if I can't remember anything before then, I know people born in 1993 on will remember even less (unless it was a specific memory that really stuck with them). I guess that's why I find all of these Buzzfeed articles and #Imissthe90's so annoying.
