Not real funny names, but a funny situation.
My chick grew up in small town Nevada. The only black girls in her class had the same last name, one was named Latisha and the other was named Latasha.
They were not related.

I knew a guy in basic with the last name Beeman. He said he almost went into the navy. He would have been Seaman Beeman.
I also went to school with this girl named Ada. I found out latter her last name was "Lemon".

Knew a guy in the Army who was named Kunta Kinte, don't remember his last name. The 1SG would call him Kunta Kinte if he did something good, Toby if he screwed up. 1SG was was a black guy.

When I worked with St. Jude, I was doing a fundraiser in Mobile and had to get some phone lines hooked up in the mall. The phone tech who showed up was named Hammer Killings. I still have his card.
I googled to find supporting evidence, and it looks like ol boy passed away a few years back.
Nice guy. Awesome name.

Worked at Pizza Hut in HS with a dude named Phuc Pham. I remember on the first day he came the manager was like, "How do you say your name? Fuke?" and he replied, "No, F**k!" We all had to call him Pham
