You are correct sir!

I would also say the scene where Leo Dicaprio is breaking under the pressure of being undercover in "The Departed".
Robert Duvall storming the beach for a surfing spot in "Apocalypse Now" is also a classic.

Have to agree with Vols on "the Exocist" but that film had a ton of memorable scenes.

I would also like to add the scene where Bill the Butcher confronts Amsterdam in Gangs of New York.
That's a wound

One of the funniest ever. You could never make this movie in today's PC climate.

The 5 - 10 minutes immediately after William Wallace's wife is murdered in Braveheart.

Actually, the entire movie is one epic scene after another, but that one stands out.

____________________________________________

The party scene in Jacob's Ladder when Jacob watches his girlfriend, Jezzie, dance with another man. The man she's dancing with becomes more and more devilish and agressive as the song progresses eventually leading Jacob to believe that his girlfriend is having sex with a demon.

Jacob flips out, has a panic attack, and collapses on the floor screaming. The partiers realize that he has a serious 106 degree fever and they rush him to the bathroom. They take off his clothes, submerge him naked in cold water, and begin to pour buckets of ice into the bathtub to bring down his fever. He's screaming in pain the entire time.

All this occurs just after an attractive fortune teller at the party playfully asks Jacob if she can read his palm lines. She's flirting and he likes the attention so he allows her to examine his palm.

The palm reader finds his palm interesting. According to her, he's already dead. Jacob laughs and walks toward the dancefloor...
