Ima give you a tip. If you have to finance an AC unit....sell the house and get the version on wheels like the rest of the Auburn fans. It'll come with a free AC and it'll be easier for the mortgage company to repossess it when it comes time.

Get a zero percent credit card for 12-18 months with that good credit score and call I a day. if you have to finance this thing. Cash is best way of course.

Why do I get the feeling the OP is trolling the shut out of everybody? Hahaha

Do not get a payday loan whatever you do. Make sure it is an installment loan.

No, but you did forget the part about an LSU fan being the one that broke your AC.

Not sure where you live but Alabama Power will finance it and bill it to your power bill. Costs more than buying it outright obviously , but I know a couple people that went that route.

Replaced mine recently. A/C company had 0% financing for several years. Check with company doing work.

A little over $8000 for the one we want it wasn't something we were anticipating having to replace so soon so we weren't saving money to do that

I've learned since joining the rant that Cam has a paper bag full of money that he will loan to Auburn fans.

Also wanted to add that we only just recently bought the house at the beginning of last year and we knew the system was older but were expecting it to last several more years that's why we havent had a chance to save a lot of money for something like this because we used the majority of our savings to put a down payment on the house

That sucks and I'm guessing Yall are younger and just getting started and that can be tough

My point being though, you should be saving for things you don't anticipate. I have my regular savings, and then also an emergency fund which I don't touch.

this. At least six months of expenses AND 15-20k for emergencies should be the aim for a sound financial life.

As for the OP, any paycheck advance place would be your best bet.
