I just told my girlfriend to pick out things, because I would end up buying some 40 dollar couch off of craigslist.

It's delish in a Bloody Mary. Trust me on this one. I was skeptical but my man at Liquor Express hasn't failed me yet and he talked me into it.

Not a huge bloody Mary fan. I'll drink one if it's given to me, but I'm not going to make one for myself. For a hangover I'd rather have a screwdriver or mimosa. And yeah mimosas are gay, and IDGAF. This is merica

Yeah I told my woman the same thing. At first she was upset cuz she thought I was trying to remove myself from the process, but I just literally don't care. As long as I have someplace to park my black arse while I watch TV, I'm good

Brunches with bottomless mimosa's are awesome.

Same here. My tastes just generally fall into what's considered "manly" since I don't like sweet stuff of any kind really. But a mimosa can be incredible after a rough night.

Island Wing Company in Auburn does bottomless mimosas on Sundays. mimosas+wings=no hangover

Mrs. Tbird favors smirnoff ices, therefore I do as well.

Plus, I really will drink pretty much anything

You think I've never cracked open a Smirnoff Ice a girl left sitting around when I was drinking?

If I'm going for anything straight it's bourbon. I like Bloody Marys, Mimosas, Daquiris (largely because it's easier on my stomach when it's mixed with something these days). I don't get real picky until we start talking about beer.

I've yet to meet the alcohol I couldn't stomach, but I can be picky if I'm buying for myself.

Coastie, I did my shopping yesterday. There's half a bottle of bacon vodka left at home, a liquor store on the way for the mix, and basketball and Bloody Marys in my near future.

There is something with alcohol in my near future. I'm not sure what, but it will be some type of alcohol.

I have managed to work rum and vodka back in post-sickness. I'm also afraid to try bourbon but I might here soon.

There ya go! I've crushed a few cartons of that stuff in my day and am not ashamed to admit it. Of course, I have a bit of a sweet tooth, too, so there's that

And I hear ya, belle--I just can't bring myself to get picky about beer. I have my favorites, but I keep my options wide open for the most part.

I could see bourbon being tougher on it than vodka. I can imagine it's been damn tough not being able to drink good whiskey. Or eat most good foods.

Not eating red meat has been rough. I like steak. I miss Thai food even though I think Saturday I'm going to attempt some. I've at least been able to work some things back in so it hasn't been too bad.

I've decided I don't want any part of caffeine again though. I had a coffee with decaf the other day and that went okay but outside of when I had the flu or have been extremely sleep deprived I haven't had a headache since I stopped drinking it.

Ok an hour from when I leave work and there is a brand new watering hole open up right next to my office ... I'm looking at it through my window right now ... I think I will go over there for some TGIF tequila shots and maybe a little Jameson n' such.
