Leave'em alone. They sit in their rooms, get wasted and play D&D. I've partied with a few member before and they remind me of the Tri-Lambs from Revenge of the Nerds. Not bad people, but yeah they can be a little strange.

You can't deny the fact that they do try to bother people with it. I'm all for being yourself, but there's a point beyond that where it becomes attention-whoreish and forced.
ETA: I'm in no way saying what happened to them is acceptable. It's completely not. But to call them innocent bystanders is inaccurate

Something isn't right here. When did they move Mallet Students into Palmer Hall? When I was there it was an all male dorm. Not sure where the Mallet students stayed at but I thought it was closer to the Quad.

I was in Palmer from 2004-2006 then moved to Rose Towers. They never did fix the internet, it was a bitch to get my xbox online.
I did have a guy on my floor though that should've been a candidate for Mallet. Played Scottish Bagpipes every morning at 7am, every day.
What happened to Mallet Hall? I graduated December 09, I figured I would've known something happened as most of my classes were over there. I figured that was the whole point of going into Mallet. Walking from Palmer to any of the science buildings is a bitch.

Was just coming to post this. A large majority of Greeks across the south have such a superior it complex. Not only will they not associate with non-Greeks for the most part but then they do shite like this and actively harass people who aren't like them. I was friends with Greeks, actually most all of my friends from school were Greek. But a lot of them were assholes for this very reason.

Nope, Greeks were generally assholes when I was in school at UA in the 90's. It's not a new trend.

I had a few friends that lived in Mallett my freshman year. I used to get ganja from there. Most of them were cool, geeky guys. I never once heard of any Greek harrassment from any of them.
While I knew some cool ones, many of the ones that try and act like they are all-accepting and all that jazz are hipsters and punks, and hipsters and punks can certainly be snooty and act better-than-thou too.
