After Season Two of "The Walking Dead", which was one of the tops 5 seasons of any show in history IMO, Season Three was a disappointment. Not bad by any means, just not up their standard.
"Breaking Bad" is the only show that I've ever watched which went 5+ seasons without any dropoff. Even "The Wire", one of the all-time greats, sucked by Season Five.

Season Four is generally regarded as the strongest season so this statement is nonsense.
Season Five is generally regarded as the weakest, but even the weakest season of The Wire is preferable to watching most anything else.

The 5-6 season of dexter were written by a whole different staff, why they did that I have no idea. Season 7 got the original writers back. Maybe I'm weird but I enjoy dexter.

However I liked it. Some of the stuff like how she got away with stuff was kinda cheesy. Reason I asked is because it usually starts around now.

Season 2 of the Wire was the weakest IMO and then 3 and 4 were really good.

I watched The Walking Dead back when I had cable, but it really is a suckfest of a show.
