At the office there's some old workplace photographs on the walls from the 1950's and 1960's. Everyone has a lit cigarette in their hand or in the ashtray next to them, and this is in a place open to the public.

My first job where I worked in an office environment, I had smokers all around me and the office stunk, and so did my clothes.
There was always a fog in the hallways.
