Jesus Christ, that's terrible. I can't even imagine what he's going through right now.

So awful. Makes my heart hurt thinking about what his family is dealing with.

Me too. I had a pretty strong visceral reaction when I first read this. What inconceivable pain and sadness.

Heart goes out to him and his family. I couldn't begin to imagine what he's going through.

That's awful. This happened to one of my dad's brothers while at a neighbors house, but he was able to live for 2 years after before succumbing to the complications from his injuries. Really tore up both families involved

Oh wow. I'm really sorry to hear that. A parent should never have to bury their child.

I may have worded that a bit confusing, what I meant was my dad's brother was the child who was injured and died. This was 50 years ago and my dad was too young to remember himself, but it's still an emotional subject to my uncle's and aunt that were old enough to remember it.

Prayers for Todd and his entire family. This a hurt and guilt so deep it messes you up forever

Oh, I understand now. I'm not surprised to hear that they still have trouble talking about it. Some wounds never completely heal.

Happened to a family right around the corner from us right after New Years. The dad came home for lunch. Afterwards, the kids were playing in the yard. As he was leaving to go back to work, turned to look over his right shoulder as he backed out of the driveway and his little 3 yr old son came running up to his truck from the left when he realized his dad was leaving. Ran over and killed him before anyone could say or do anything.

Makes me sick to my stomach thinking about it. Just horrific.
