Do any of you live in states that have 2 different time zones? What is that like? Is it confusing? Does it get confused much?

Yes. Knoxville is about 45 minutes east from where central time kicks in.
It's not confusing in the least.

I have a relative that lives in Phenix City, AL. Due to it's proximity to Columbus, GA, it is in EST. The rest of Alabama (as far as I know) is in CST. Going to specifically timed events in Phenix City took some coordination and time management

Lived in Pensacola, Florida, for a number of years. It's in the Central while most of the rest of the state is Eastern. That confused a lot of people, especially Floridians who didn't realize the state stretches over two time zones.

Kentucky has two time zones but I can't recall any problems, probably because the Golden Triangle (Lexington, Cincinnati, Louisville) are all within the eastern time zone.

Actually, according to federal law, all of Alabama is in the central time zone.
Phenix City and most (maybe all) of the other places occupying the little easterly jaunt the Chattahoochee takes right around Columbus, Ga choose to operate on eastern time. Back in the day it was because so many people living there worked in Georgia. Now it is probably because of tradition and the fact that all the local TV stations are in Georgia.

Florida is in two time zones. The panhandle is so damn far away that it doesn't really matter.

I do, and no.
Alaska and Hawaii/Aleutian.
Part of the Aleutians actually cross over into the Eastern Hemisphere.

There is a difference between CST and CDT. The rest of Alabama is on CDT now.

Had no idea KY was split that deep. Most states that are split have a small section that's different.

Lived about 300 yards from the time line. Had to know if you are dealing in slow or fast time.
Y3s, it can get confusing.

That's what I thought. When I was in Columbus a few months ago, if I was on the riverfront in Columbus, my cell phone would sometimes flip over to CT in certain spots.

El Paso fricks with me greatly. i go there about 3 times a year and i forget even though i'm in Texas, my kids are working on different times.
the one that greatly jacked with me was when i was in Flagstaff AZ last summer (no DST.) sun would come up @ 5:30 AM and set pretty early. my wife and i were up before 6 every day and wiped about 9 every night.
