Not meaning to compare, but the interstellar IM thread is in fact better.

Plus it has a cooler thread name.

Mine wants me to transfer to Clemson, but I'm only a year out from graduating so that shite ain't happening. Plus it's Clemson.

But I agree on the enticing bit...

You don't like the idea of adding a lake?

Would this be the lady with those lovely tatas?

If so, I'm sure you could enroll for some summer courses.

Informed her of this joke first thing after finding out she attended Clemson.

I like lakes all fine, but I prefer either Purple and Gold or Orange and Blue. Let's not bastardize both of my tigers into some Purple and Orange abomination.

Yes...yes it would. And she entices me with them all too often (and I'd be a liar if I said I didn't like it).

Clemson is a beautiful campus and great school. Nice lake.

Recently a friend of the family drowned in that lake after a Clemson game. Sad.

I have no doubt and will hopefully be paying a visit soon. She might have enticed me into considering graduate school there, but I'm not certain I want a Master's yet.

And sad to hear about the drowning. Always sad to lose someone and that is one of the worst ways to go.

I almost went there. I just couldn't get over how middle of nowhere it is.

It is middle of nowhere, but it pretty, you have access to a beautiful huge lake, they party like it's 1999, you're not far from Greenville and Spartanburg...it's a great place.

Oh man, that's what makes places like that awesome

As long as they're in a nice part of the country, I mean. I wouldn't want to be in the middle of nowhere, North Dakota. But middle of nowhere, South Carolina? Sold.

27 year old me could probably handle it fine. 18 year old me would have gone crazy after a few months.

Well, I can understand that. Maybe that's what 27 year old me has become. "Ugh, get me away from all these PEOPLE."
