That's a good start on the one hand. On the other hand, it's a pile of shite. Perhaps we can agree it's a good pile of shite as a synthesis.

Subliminal Messaging
I might've been in an altered state once and determined that we as humans were being directed what to do, mostly through advertising and TV. I wish I would've written more stuff down from those times.

Think about it. The two worst words in the English language are the n-word and the c-word. One demeans an entire race, the other demeans an entire sex. As Gore Vidal said, "To be labeled is to be enslaved."
When I say "conspiracy theorist" most people get a certain image of a crazy tinfoil guy in a basement or something. Yet, conspiracy just means a plan by more than one person to commit a crime. Obviously those happen every day. Theory just means to speculate. The Warren Commission did that on purpose, coined the term and instructed the media on how to use it.
So be wary of any label - including Holocaust Denier. The people saying it might just be trying to shut you up
Mission accomplished by the intelligence community.
Branding anyone that goes against mainstream narrative as a basement dweller, or whacky person like Alex Jones is essential to keeping truth on the fringe.
It's funny that the opposite is true -- so many PhD's, normal-rational people are against what we've been told, they write about it, talk about it, but they don't get the spotlight -- it's always the David Icke's and Alex Jone's of the world.

Right.
In this case I'm recognizing well known crazy people like Alex Jones and David Icke as crazy -- while affirming level headed PhDs and other balanced individuals as not crazy.
So.. your comment was kind of dumb.

Given enough time, resources and effort most people can be convinced of literally anything. The question then becomes is someone taking the time, resources and efforts necessary to pull off the supposed con more likely than the story provided simply being true?
In most cases, the objective answer is "no".

Intelligence and education in no way preclude someone from isolated or generalized insanity.

I also happen to know there are many like-minded people with MD's all across this country. Maybe you could find someone to have a discussion with.
The truth is... extremely painful to accept.
I would be embarrassed to see all my post history and how vitriolic and rude I was toward TX Tiger, ST....
It's a big mosaic, with a lot of different ideas. The people who believe are fractured into different groups and approach it from all different angles. But once you get to the core of it, and comprehend it and see all the evidence, it makes perfect sense.
It makes more sense that what we've been told.
And then things are in fact clearer, easier to understand, and more focused. The exact opposite of deluded, paranoid, crazy.
