Southern cities ranked among laziest...

Per Yahoo!... half of the SEC's home states represent some of the laziest cities in the United States. Thanks Mississippi. Thanks Alabama. Thanks Kentucky and USCe.

Does this prove that there really isn't shite to do in MS or AL and they are generally terrible places to be?

Well that's not an incredibly subjective and judgmental study at all

No more than Katrina proves Louisiana is a terrible place to be. Stupid assessment.

Sorry bub. I live on some of the best beaches in the States.

It's just interesting how the Yahoo! reporters got it right again this time and how we all agree that most people from MS and AL are generally really lazy people.

Kinda ironic considering that Alabama has the best conditioning program in the Western Hemisphere.

Considering Louisiana is Alabama minus the beaches, I'd say you have no room to talk.

Mississippi on the other hand? An argument can be made considering they have ONE city with a population of 100k+ people....

BTW, wtf is this doing on the SEC Rant?

Birmingham is on the list simply because of its black population- which more than half of blacks are obese. The Birmingham area is in pretty good shape, actually. I don't know a whole lot of fat people (at least few my age)

Same can be said about Louisiana and New Orleans. What is there to really do outside of that city?

Well, what can you do in other states that you can't do in Alabama? Bars? Golf? Museums? Theme parks? Malls? Cousin fricking (lulz)? Name ten things to do in your city and I'll guarantee you Alabama can match that. I don't really like the state of Alabama, but even I'll admit it's really no different than any other state.

I mean, if you seriously think there's nothing to do in Alabama, you should imprison yourself for being the world's biggest moron.
