An SEC wife? Possibly?
Why are you mad that the rant knows your coaches wife has past due taxes?
Why don't you pay them for her?

If the house was mortgaged and the taxes were escrowed in the mortgage payment, the Malzahn's would have received a check in the mail from the mortgage company after the settlement of the sale. The new buyers would have their escrow set up at settlement, for future property taxes.
The Malzahn's got their escrow rebate in the mail since their mortgage company no longer had a lien on the property.
The closing attorney was probably chosen by the buyer's agent or mortgage broker, and as such, didn't give a shite about doing any administrative favors for the seller.
It's the Malzahn's fault, but it's an easy mistake to make.

I don't think the Malzahn's are hurting for money but we don't pay our coach $1 million per win like some schools do so idk
