Nope, true. Lower class folks throw the word around like they exhale. Upper class folks understand the appropriate time and place

Well then, perhaps this is a generational thing. I'm not sure how one could definitively describe class, but I certainly know/have known very affluent people who say frick like it's their job. They are not trashy people.

Perhaps you can tell me what is classy and what isn't so we can solve this issue.

It's just a matter of timing. We all use the word, timing is everything. My wife's son (another marriage) uses it several hundred times a day, and it's never effective.

I think it is much more of a generational thing. It is just starting to become somewhat more socially acceptable.

Fair enough. I see your point and do not disagree with that. I guess the class comment caught me off guard, I've never heard someone say frick and thought that they were trashy or lower class. But it takes a lot of people to make a world.

What the frick are you babbling about? frick is widely accepted vernacular in all generations. frick should be embraced not marginalized. I mean frick, come on man.

"In the heat of battle my father wove a tapestry of obscenities that as far as we know is still hanging in space over Lake Michigan."

It's just an age thing. When I was younger we threw it around like it was nothing. Now I still use it, but not in a work setting or in front of my Grandmother type thing.

I just laugh when someone says it.
I mean when you think about it the whole concept is just ridiculous.
Oh my you said the word "frick". Shame on you.
