T-Mobile

My contract with ATT is over and I am tired of dealing with them and their magical accounting/billing.

Never used anyone but AT&T or Houston Cellular. I won't change because it's the only provider that even remotely works in South Texas. I have never had a problem with their accounting or billing.

Somehow my unlimited data that I was grandfathered into disappeared last summer. Then I got hit with some type of service taxes on my iPad and my mom's line.

I have been a customer for 8 plus years and have 6 lines on my bill, but yet my bill that was guaranteed to be X has now risen to triple the ammount.

I'd raise hell abiut that too. I have been with Houston Cellular/AT&T since 1986 and I can only remember having one issue with them and it was resolved very quickly. I did loose my really good deal I had from the Houston Cellular days because I screwed up and let the contract expire without renewing it. That little memory lapse cost me an extra $50 a month.

Did you upgrade phones? I lost mine with Verizon when I had to get a new phone.

Call and raise hell and tell them how long you have been a customer. I did this a while back and it got fixed and I actually got a discounted rate. It takes a little while on the phone but worked out in the long run. Haven't had any problems since.

Pros
$50 unlimited everything per line
No contract
Good customer service
4G in most metro areas

Cons
2/3G in most smaller areas even possibly no service in some areas. I know once I crossed the ark/Tenn bridge in Memphis my cell service quickly diminished.

Even though I am enrolled in auto pay I get 3-4 text messages a month about my bill. That's kinda annoying.
