Ok so the next time a star player uses a racist taunt on the floor is he banned for life and fined 2.5M, if not they are hypocrites.

Only if it's a white player taunting blacks. Otherwise, no fricks will be given.

Link to the last time a black player taunted whites on the floor with racial prejudice?

Off the top of my head, I know isaiah thomas was taken to task for backing up Dennis Rodman's racially tinged remark about Larry Bird. As he should have been.

Quit throwing out these inflammatory and purposeless hypotheticals.

Come on man you really aren't naive enough to think this doesn't happen right? I'm not saying its rampant but please.

You can't fine him after you fire him. That's a joke, but it sounded good at the podium.

Right call by NBA (only call actually) but it is not applied equally or fairly.

When Isiah Thomas said Bird- if black--would have been ordinary, Larry took high road. With Sterling, Magic played victim. Bird wins again.

Larry Elder has some interesting tweets...

Larry Elder ?@larryelder · 5h
Will Smith, co-owner of Philly 76ers, called a certain libertarian "Uncle Tom" on a rap song. Will NBA announce a thorough investigation?

Larry Elder ?@larryelder · 6h
Will NBA ban Spike Lee because said he dislikes interracial couples. Said when he sees them, they get "visual daggers." Investigation?

I didn't say it never happens.

I asked you for a link.

And even so, that doesn't have any bearing on how the NBA handled the DS situation.

All this would come out in a civil trial. The NBA may wish they'd never gone there before it is over.
