Been to St. Martin twice now. 2 best things to do are
1. Maho beach(where the planes fly down real close to your face)
2. Captain Alan's snorkeling... So much fun, go to 3 different snorkeling stops, tons of clear blue water, and awesome drinks and snacks, all for a good price. Look them up on TripAdvisor.

If you meant "St Maarten" then yeah, I'll make a recommendation.

Book a day cruise, or night cruise, or whatever ... with Top Secret Excursions. LINK Tell Danny and Miles that Mr. Rooster sent you .... be prepared to talk SEC sports.

I'm a big St. Barts fan. Been the last two years. Will go back again next year and my dream is to retire there.

Here are my suggestions:
Gouvenear Beach
Nikki Beach afternoon drinks
Do Brazil for sunset drinks
Le Ti for late night
Le Select for lunch (Where Jimmy Buffet was inspired for cheeseburger in paradise)
Le Petite Columbe bakery for breakfast
Hike to Columbier beach
Bonito/Meat & Potatoes/Isoletta for dinner

Governear is the best beach IMO. St. Jean is the most popular. Columbier is the most secluded. The best decision I made was to rent a boat and beach hop for a day.

If you don't mind hiking, Columbier is cool but so is the hike to the Natural Pools at Grand Fond.

Not to be a snob but you won't find any "rif raff" in St. Barths. Nobody will be trying to sell stuff to you at every turn nor is there a lot of commercialization like you'd find in St. Maarten.

La Villa (Formerly L'Alabama) in Grand Case in St Martin is an amazing restaurant.

St Maarten has some of the cheapest liquor I've ever seen. Also, the Platinum Room strip club is something I absolutely recommend. They ship these women straight out of eastern Europe that are stunningly beautiful and will do nearly anything for $100

Mullet beach is cool. They have a little beach hut deal that they barbecue all kinds of things in a pit for cheap. Saw two of the hottest women I've ever witnessed walk out of the ocean wearing nothing but g strings.

Don't really have bars to recommend.

Lots of trashy casinos

St. Barths is very expensive in comparison. Filled with rich French assholes. There's an amazing beach that is kinda tucked away that I can't remember the name and will update when I get home and look it up. There's a restaurant called Eden Rock on the north side of the island. One of the best places I've ever been, and lots of famous people frequent there, although depending on the size of your party your bill could be in the thousands of dollars.

There's a pretty cool bar called the Yacht Club, although very expensive. I remember paying 11 euros for an 8oz Heineken back when the exchange rate was 1.5:1 back in 2012.

Highly recommend renting mopeds for a day and exploring the entire island on the little roads.

All in all, I did this trip by staying on a 100ft yacht that belonged to my extremely wealthy friend's father. I was still in college at the time and these people were way out of my league and made me feel like white trash. I would have enjoyed myself more now that I'm out of school and have some money, but the trip was still incredible. Hope you enjoy yourself

ETA: bought the best yack I've ever had in my life for $40 a g one night on the beach in st. Maarten. Ended up dancing with a fat chick at a bar located on that beach and nearly gave myself a hear attack at the platinum room that night. It was awesome.
