I have never seen a Waffle King restaurant survive in the South, but I have never seen a Waffle House fail.

I mean, they both have waffles in their name, and I have never eaten at Waffle King, but I would think it is about the same thing as Waffle House.

What is the problem?

looks great. You get onions in the hash browns? That's how I love 'em.

But where are the cheese grits man?

I've never seen or heard of Waffle King

Waffle House has a stranglehold on breakfast places down here. Why would I try anywhere else? It's as good as it gets. There's not one thing I'd change about Waffle House

I've never even heard of Waffle King.

We've got Waffle Houses, Huddle Houses and IHOPs all over the damn place in SC, though.

Honestly, though, if I had to pick a fave restaurant that serves breakfast no matter what time of day it is, it would definitely be Cracker Barrel. Wish they'd stay open 24/7 like the others.

Mustard on your hash browns? I've never seen that.

I love their biscuits & gravy and their cheese grits. Love their chicken & dumplins, too.

Dammit...now I'm hungry!

I am not a fan of ketchup but I love real tomatoes.

My favorite is to mix mayo, mustard, and horseradish and use that where most use ketchup,

Double order of hashbrowns and a Bacon, egg and cheese on toast or ham and cheese omelet with a waffle on the side.
