Broke my wrist the one time I went Skiing and said frick that and ever since then all I do is Snowboarding which is much better but still sucks. There's a reason I live in the south though because frick freezing weather.

Snowboarding. I would only ski if I was an arctic sniper.

Well that would be true for anything new, if you body is not used to something and you are using muscles that you normally do not use.
My experience with newbies is they excel quicker at snowboarding.
