Shooter on the loose at Delta State University

Saw a friend at DSU on Facebook post this and said it was a professor who was shot.

No word yet on the condition of the victim. Delta State University sent out an alert at around 10:40 on Monday morning saying that the shooter was near Jobe Hall. We are working to gather more information now.

He wasn't married.
His girlfriend lived close to Gautier, quite a few hours away from Delta State. It wouldn't be impossible for a colleague to have an affair with his long distance girlfriend, but it would be unlikely.
I suspect it will be a far more mundane case of a depressed guy who lost it in all areas of his life.
