Not everyone stays in Athens. Whitefish is very comparable, but better.

I was feeling no pain when I posted this abortion of a sentence.

That is the dumbest thing I have ever seen posted on this board.

Some of y'all must not be true southerners.

I've got a buddy who was a huge UT fan who lives in Boazman...his family had season tickets back in the 70's and drove an orange and white conversion van to the games back in the early days of tailgating. Guess that isn't really close to Glacier at all, but he's the only SEC fan I know of in the whole state.

Maybe some people have just spent time outside of the South.

I have spent a ton of time outside the south. There are plenty of great places to live outside of here, Montana is most certainly not one of them.

I am sure you haven't spent a ton of time outside the south, but where are some of the great places to live iyo?

Guess it depends on what you like. I'd take Western Montana over Georgia.

I would probably like it there for a few months in the summer. But hate it the rest of the year.

I willing to bet you've never stepped foot in Montana the way you're talking about it.

I LOVE the south. But Montana is one of probably 4 (and I've been to 41 so I've seen a lot) states I would move to outside of the south if not for its winters. Summer in Montana does not get better.

I've been to 46 states and it doesn't get any more beautiful than western Montana, especially around Flathead Lake.

I'll guess that Alaska is one of the four.

Yes. I haven't been to Alaska, Hawaii, South Dakota or Kansas.

Whitefish - one of my favorite towns. Near glacier NP - nice food truck that does a great job with Mexican food
