saw leaves on the ground today..

made me think that we are all just leaves on the earth tree. we will all just wither and fall off. we will be replaced by new leaves in a cycle of suffering. we spend our life trying to extend it, while looking for ways to make it pass by. makes me question what is the point. is this all some cruel joke? do even the best in our world really have anything to live for? when all is said and done, we are just an insignificant speck of dust in an endless universe. only our huge egos would believe that we could understand the complexities of what surrounds us. i am just a leaf. we are all just a leaf.

I saw my neighbor's wife blowing some leaves yesterday. It looked like they were enjoying it.
