I have a Caravelle 230 Walkaround that is awesome. No complaints at all and a lot of boat for the money. Mine is being pushed by a 250HP Suzuki Four Stroke (also the preference of the US Coast Guard). Check-em-out.

The money is in the engines not the hull. U can buy any of those hulls used without power for under 20k. Then spend 30-45 to power them. Edgewaters are very nice.

May I offer an alternative. Try out a 26 foot glacier bay canyon runner. I used to have three big offshore buddies one had a loaded 27 contender, the other a 32 regulator and other a 26 foot glacier bay canyon runner. These guys were young run and gunners abc fished over 70 times a year as all could take off Friday's.

The only ever took out the 26 foot glacier bat as they all like it thebest and eventually sold the other two boats and boat one loaded glacier bay.
