Right turn on left AFTER stop. It's a stop sign. Not a slow down sign. Speed limit means just that. Don't speed. Double parking is illegal.

When you see a cop driving 45 MPH in the right lane it is ok to keep driving the speed limit and fricking pass him. The scared idiots that won't frick up traffic worse than idiots driving slow in the hammer lane.

I've witnessed CHP here running up a steep grade in the left lane with lights on to remind all the dumbasses that run slow in the left lane to get in the fricking right lane.
The Highway Patrol here in California is great, they completely understand the flow of traffic and really only frick with dumb asses that disrupt traffic, or act like idiots.
Not like the State Patrol I grew up with in Missouri, who just seemed to live to frick with drivers, and just be dicks in general.
I had 4 tickets from age 16-20 in Missouri. I've had zero from 21-39 here in Caifornia.

Apparently this is the only way to drive between Atlanta and Chattanooga. I learned quickly to just stay in the right hand lane if I wanted to do anything faster than 70.

Most of the time when I finally get around a frickhole that is driving slow in the left lane, I see they are fricking with their phone.
Texting and Driving is illegal in GA.
During my commute to ATL daily, I see it at least 3 times a day.
As a previous poster imagined writing tickets as a cop, this is what I would do each day. Guaranteed 3 tickets a day I could write. And that's just my commute. If I was on the metro interstates for a full shift, I could probably write ten a day, and make Captain by my 5th year. But because of my relative inexperience, the older men under my command wouldn't respect me, and I'd accidentally get shot in some kind of staged raid in Norcross, blamed on nameless faceless Mexican gang, easy to sweep under the rug.
The cops that killed me would probably even have the nerve to shed a tear at my funeral and hug my wife.

the speed limit is not a suggestion.
I can be in the passing lane as long as I am passing someone. I don't have to speed up just because you want to go super fast.
