How tolerant of you. I bet you're one of those people that thinks most wars throughout history have been caused by religion.

Oh there's a shite storm coming and will be a backlash. How severe we don't know and whether their agenda can be rolled back.

I'm not what you would call a real religious person either, but definitely a conservative when it comes to politics. This is just more intrusion by the nanny state to intrude where they don't belong.

You can bet your arse a homosexual couple will test the limits on a Christian pastor, and when it doesn't turn out the way they want they will raise a huge mess about it. Its inevitable in this country. It will be done and we will have a huge mess

Yet it sounds like you want more regulation? I mean the government telling people who can and can't be married is regulatory, right?

Anyway, wrong board. To make it correct for the board: frick all the teams in the SEC except for A&M. frick 'em gay style.

Not only that, but they will seek out a Pastor they know will refuse them, even though they can find one to marry them. It's part of the lunatic fringe lefts tactics. Seek out opposition, raise a stink, the lamestream media will follow (because they support this) and you have the publicity and pressure to coerce.

What conference are they in?

Take it to the Poli Board or the OT Board.

Getting married is a constitutional right? I had no idea. So why is the license not issued by the US?

No, I'm a traditonalist when it comes to this issue. I believe marriage is defined as a man and woman united, period. It's been pretty much defined as such throughout history. I have nothing against the gay population. What they do is their own business. I am opposed to them trying to re-define marriage and pushing their believe on the general population and thus bastardizing the constitution as it was intended.

So the new regulation isn't coming from me, it's from the Supreme Courts ruling and what will inevitably happen because of that.

That's actually the exact opposite of what he was saying.

Nope. The Constitution says nothing about marriage.

Gay marriage is not a Constitutional right. Neither is straight marriage.

That's fine, if marriage wasn't a legal contract. That's reality now. It's fine being a traditionalist (in fact there is much to respect there), but marriage is no longer a religious institution. It can be a religious ceremony, but the institution is now a governmental procedure. It is a legal state. After all, you can have the ceremony all you want but it doesn't mean anything without the paperwork.
