Sounds like someone describing a homely girl ... "But she's got a great personality."

But that doesn't tell us anything about the pug.

the pug in question is a sweet/fun dog, she's just super ugly and they think she's the cutest thing ever. I think we all have girls as friends we'd never date, there are some dogs I like to be around(like the pug) but would never want to have for myself because they're just not attractive to me.

you cray, old man!

It is imperative that you stay alive for at least one more year so I can meet you and drink some whiskey with you when I come to Columbia next year.

They say they're so ugly they're cute. But imo, their personalities are what make them cute. That's also what I look for in a dog. Growing up, the bigger the mutt, the better the dog. Pure breeds seemed to have more issues, the "cuter" they were. We took in a couple Pomeranians, and all were neurotic, shitty dogs. Though they were gorgeous. I like mutts, but a good dog is a good dog. Bad breeders are usually the biggest problems.

My current dog turned out to be a pure bred American Staffordshire (like a pitbull, but 30+ pounds smaller). It was a pup when I got her, but she's been the best dog I've owned in my life. Sweet as hell, beautiful, athletic, has the Saints Black/Gold coat, and makes a great portable space heater.

Your dogs need fresh water. Or is that an open septic tank?

I am just kidding. Those are some really good looking dogs. Healthy too.

They are great dogs too. We rescued one and he was an amazing dog.

Very misunderstood breed.

Ugly. Best dog I've ever had is a rescue mutt that I currently have. Some sort of hound/boxer mix, sweet, smart, and great looking.

I've never met a mean one that wasn't trained to be that way.

Rottweilers love people. But they're large and look scary when they bark.

Yep. Our Bear was huge. Loved kids. Was always aware of his size and tried to stay out of the way.
He was skin and bone when we found him. You should have seen this animal at full health. Impressive specimen.

Now I just go to the pound. I currently have Hank a hound mix and he is badass too. Zero health problems. Loyal.

I have had English Bulldogs in the past and loved them but I would put my adopted dogs against any out there.

Sorry for the novel. I am a dog lover.

Here is another puppy. This was one of ours. We have had 1 litter of 5 AKC pups. We kept 2. The other 3 are all close by.
