Never a fan. Still, sorry to see the man die this early in life. He was in concert in Atlanta 2 weeks ago and all seemed well according to the reviews.

The flu is still circulating strongly in some areas. If Prince did contract it, that may very well be the cause of his death.
At 57 and with a history of drug use, his body likely was unable to withstand an influenza infection. It's a horrible way to die.

Meh.
While it's sad on a human level that a person died at a relatively young age, and I feel for his family and friends, I'll never understand the reverence for him as an artist. Not my bag I suppose.
