You hit the post early too and mostly had the game in control. It's always going to be hard to knock City off, but in that situation at home you really need to do it if you dream of winning the title.

Chelsea just tied it up. It's been coming.

Arsenal with 2 goals in 80 seconds to make Villa need a few more shots on target if they want a result today.

Make it 3 on an own goal. What a run for Arsenal over the last two minutes.

If we were in better form I might be a little more pumped.

Great slate of games though.

Merseyside Derby to open.

NLD to finish.

Sad I'm more excited about this than the college football, you know with LSU sucking and all.

I'm just glad our bye week happened to fall on this weekend.

I've been reading up on stuff and listening to a few extra podcasts this week to get this whole Sp*rs hate into my new soccer brain

When me and all my friends adopted Arsenal in the summer of 2013, it was rather easy for us. San Antonio is evil, so the hate was natural.

I love when Arseblog Arsecasts casually breaks in to, "what do you think... of tottnum?" followed with an even more casual, ".... shite." You know the rest I'm sure.

Gooner hate is just so natural for me.

Example one: TeLaFaWx is a gooner. Sleeping Tiger would be an Arsenal fan if he did the whole soccer thing.

Example 2: Your manager is French. Any club who would pick a surrender monkey to lead the troops is no club I can support.

Example 3: You let terrorists name your stadium. Considering our Jewish fan base, you are basically the Hamas of the EPL.

Stupid fricking phone. Apparently corrected your name as I was typing it. I know the names of the douche I hate.

Secondly, every airline is Badass compared to any American carrier. Doesn't change the fact you support terrorism as an Arsenal fan.

Okay. Lemme try again.

I feel bad for Spurs. Arsenal has the best season in English soccer in over 100 years, and then makes the decision to build Emirates. A decision where they had to sell their best players and only managed to spend 9 million net pounds in transfers over an 8 year span, while the rest of the good clubs in the EPL spent 300 or 400. We wandered trophyless and broke for damn near a decade, and still we finished higher than Spurs.
Have Spurs finished finished higher than Arsenal in Premiere League history? Once? Maybe twice since the Premiere League(same as the 12 team SEC) has existed? Even Ole Miss and State finish higher than LSU in the SEC West with greater frequency. That's how lopsided the NLD is. It would almost be sad, if it wasn't so deserving. Tottenham are shite. They have 1 trophy in the last twenty years, White Hart Lane holds less people than Vanderbilt Stadium, and you've made one Champions League once in your entire history. You sold Gareth Bale because he wanted to play European soccer, and he knew he would never do it with Spurs. And what did Spurs get out of the sale? Lamela, Soldado, Capoue and Chadli. Lolz. What did that get you? Three straight losses to Arsenal where you failed to score a single goal. Spurs are shite. They'll always be shite.

COYG.
