Better is a false premise. I think private corporations are better at most things and almost always more efficient, but sometimes inefficiency is worth it if we are providing vital services. Like the post office. In the old days it was all people had. Private enterprise is way better at this, but in the early days, and even still, FedEx/UPS won't serve certain areas because it's not cost efficient and doesn't make business sense. There are tons of things that don't make business sense, but serving postage to rural areas since forever is important.

In some areas yes, in some areas no. I think the Civil Rights Act and desegregation of schools have done more good than the hard that going off the gold standard and the Federal Reserve have done. Today, I think addressing liberal economic policies are more important than Al Sharpton Jesse Jackson and all the race baiting, but it's a fluid situation. I am in favor of less government interference, but government interference is still somewhat restrained, and while currently not bringing a lot of good things, has brought tremendously good things in the past.

An entire class? I think, much like the cycle of poverty, cultures of dependency are a result of poor economic and social policies, but an entire "class" of "useless" people? What kind of hyperbole is this?

All foreign aid? Foreign aid can be used to protect foreign interests and create economic/capitalist dependencies in cultures that aren't used to it. You can protect libertarian interests by spending money on foreign aid.

I think, I am more libertarian than even those that take some more extreme libertarian stances than I do, but I think people lack pragmatism, or unavoidable scenarios where free market principles and isolationism is impossible.
